Coffee Hour and Fellowship

We want to get to know you.

At Emmanuel we cherish being together in fellowship! Join us in the Parish Hall (or courtyard weather permitting) after Sunday services for lemonade or coffee.  Ask to join our email list to learn of other fellowship opportunities throughout the year.

What Is Coffee Hour?

Coffee Hour is the Episcopalian term for a time for refreshment and fellowship. Coffee is optional! We love to eat, drink and be merry at Emmanuel. Staying after worship service for coffee hour is a favorite way to get to know fellow parishioners.

Friendship Dinners

If you are looking to connect more deeply over time in fellowship with fellow congregants, consider signing up to participate in a friendship dinner circle! Groups are typically formed in September for this engaging experience. Groups of 4-5 couples are selected with one couple as the group leader to coordinate the meal scheduling. It is then a rotation one household to the next with each couple bringing a side dish, dessert, wine or whatever is required to make a lovely meal. By no means is any group confined to just doing dinners, it can be an outing, a lunch or brunch. The idea is to engender fellowship over a meal and get to know your parishioners. Please contact  Sandy von Thelen for more information. ~ thegeneralsvt(at)gmail.com.
WELCOME
This is the table, not of the Church but of Jesus Christ. It is made ready for those who love God and who want to love God more.
So come, you who have much faith and you who have little, You who have been here often and you who have not been for a long time or ever before.
You who have tried to follow and all of us who have failed. These are the gifts of God for the People of God.
