Bocock Pavilion
At the Annual Meeting on Sunday, January 26th, 2025, Mary Buford and Fred Hitz announced their gift of the Bocock Pavilion named in honor of Mary Buford’s parents: John Holmes Bocock and Elisabeth Scott Bocock.
Together with parish architect, Doug Gilpin, work began on a site plan. The structure will be located on the far, wooded side of the main parking area, and centered on the courtyard. The design includes a timber frame, stone floor, fireplace, and tin roof. Support space and storage are included as well. Construction is now underway.
Mary Buford and Fred are thrilled to see it taking shape, and delight in the view of Stockton Creek and the meadow that emerged when the land was cleared for the pavilion.
